Dutch Mason Blues Bike Show - August 10 - 12th

See the poster on the main page of Nova Scotia Bikers

Hey.. got a sweet deal if you are up for it.. If you go to www.dutchmason.com you will see that Kenny Wayne Shephard is coming.. wohooooo.. love that guy.. for the one night it is $35.00.  Its on Friday night and that is what we are going up for.  If you would like to go for the whole weekend its $95.00 to catch all the performances.  They want to extend to us a 1/2 price deal if we get 20 people together.  They will give us 40 tickets.. so two for one deal… making Kenny Wayne only $17.50… really good deal since its only 45 minutes from the city.. rumour has it Kenny is on at 9.. or you can pitch a tent for the night.. how much fun would that be!… so the tickets come in pairs.. You give me $35 plus hst and I will give you two tickets to go.. if you want two tickets for the weekend I can work something out there also..

All I need is 15 people.. so email me at janice@novascotiabikers  if you are interested.

Gotta love Bikers and Blues…. I cant wait!…. ~ Janice

Signature for Personal Choice on Safety Light - Got a whack of support (as usual)

The safety light I think will be a good thing for those who choose to have them.. I got 127 signatures last night in support of the Choice to have this light on your bike and save your neighbor from getting a ticket for $160 if he chooses to have this light.  It was a postitive night that is for sure and I actually got to talk to some new people.  Lucky me… I think that out of all the good things about this light - the one fact that it would identify a car from a bike while approaching - would be a bonus for us.  It only takes up .25 amps - so that wouldnt be an issue.  And if you so desired - you could have a toggle switch to shut it on and off.   I think that Jim and Marion from Bridgewater are doing a great job - Its not easy as a biker to get in the paper, on the news and into government legislation.. so far they have already got some great exposure.. and if you would like to find out more go to www.cardinalfireandsafety.com or call Chris or Todd at 1-866-909-3473 they both are most helpful and willing to give you information on these lights.  Once you see that they are a company that deals with all aspects of safety and emergency - you will see that this is not a get rich scheme.. I thought that was funny when I first read that..  The light costs $80 and can be installed on your own… if you are not familar with doing this they will also install it for you at a minimal fee.. I thought that was fair.  So any further questions can be directed to friendsofthewolves@auracom.com or the above.

Thank you everyone for all your support….. ~ Janice
